K9 Solutions Dog Training

Chris was absolutely amazing. He took a dog that was afraid of everything and turned him into the best version of himself. We had an impossible mission turn a scared little yorkie mix into an obedient service dog in 6 weeks. Mind you, this time frame was only because I live in Tampa and drove to Palm Beach every week just because of Chris! It was a sacrifice training every week after work (working full time) and after classes (2 classes a well) and driving to Palm beach 225 miles, but everything was worth it! Uruca turned out amazing and continues to do amazing even after the training is over! I cannot recommend Chris enough!!

Chris is amazing! My 6 months puppy did the 12 sessions obedience training and she is now totally transformed. Chris is very patient, pedagogical and flexible. The training is a few weeks of hard work for a well behaved pup for life. Even though we did the sessions through Facetime because I live in NYC, Chris was very good at spotting particular behavior or traits in my puppy to better suit the training to her needs. I recommend 100%.

Chris changed my life! I have a high energy Vizsla puppy and Chris helped us from when he was about 11 weeks old till now (7months old) and he is such a well trained, socialized dog now because of Chris. He has no reactivity around other dogs, no pulling on the leash, or misbehaving in public because of Chris. If you are looking for someone who is extremely knowledgeable and can help you be the best dog owner you can be, this is the guy!!

We are owners of the sweetest, kindest and loving 13 year old yorkie poodle. Tiki is very affectionate with people especially those needing nurturing from a soft and cuddly pooch. However, put Tiki in the presence of another dog, cat, squirrel, bird or other harmless creature and our old puppy becomes a vicious, aggressive, wolf-like attack dog. Unfortunately, this limited our excursions to the market, coffee shops, and restaurants. Even everyday strolls with our dog became a strategy of avoidance with other animals. Tiki typically barked at ear-shattering decibel levels upon an encounter with another dog or other animal. We first observed Chris from K-9 Solutions during one of his training sessions on the streets of downtown West Palm Beach. Chris exuded confidence and command of his student, ie. the dog owner/ handler. In fact, we quickly learned that despite our dog’s obvious flaws, we were the ones that were in desperate need of training. Chris is an expert not only in the behavior of dogs but particularly the manner people handle their dogs. We questioned whether an old dog could learn new tricks. For 13 years, Tiki was conditioned to bark incessantly around other canines. Even Chris appeared to limit how much Tiki could learn at her age. Tiki seemed like an intriguing challenge to Chris. But he quickly demonstrated that even his “oldest” trainee ever had potential. Tiki went through a six week program and we are so thrilled to report that she no longer barks at other dogs. She also learned to focus on our commands and walk in step at our pace.. We are amazed that even with aggressive dogs, or lax dog handlers, Tiki stays calm, cool and collected. Chris is an amazing trainer and we give our strongest recommendation for his services. Our dog is safer, healthier and will hopefully live a longer life as a result of Chris’ training. Tiki is very thankful that we found Chris to teach us how to properly handle our dog.
