Nicole is very good at selling her services. She is quirky, but convincing in a way that makes you gaslight yourself into thinking “ehh some people are animal people and not people people.” Unfortunately giving her that benefit of the doubt has now cost some of societies most vulnerable people tens of thousands of dollars. After $7,000 and 6 months of board & train for a future service dog who couldn’t even follow a sit command, we parted ways with K9 Solutions/Golden Heart Service Dogs/Paws for Patriots/Nicole Ingraham. Please do your research before trusting her with your pet or your money, unless you want to spend your money on vacations in Thailand and South Africa as it seems that’s where her time and revenue goes, rather than training the dogs she’s contracted to train.

I used Nicole in 2023, I sent my dog for a 2 week board and train. My hope was SOMETHING (reactivity, resource guarding, heel, recall) would have improvement. A base for my dog and further instruction for at home. I received a dirty (smelled liked poop), so thirsty I had to manage his water intake so he didn’t drink too much, untrained, and fearful dog back!! He knew nothing!! I paid over $2,000 for her to spray him with a water/vinegar mixture! Also, he came back so fearful of his kennel he would scream when I tried to put him in it. That alone, took 8 months to fix. While with Nicole, my dog ate around $200 worth of gear I sent him with and I was not notified until after he came home. Nicole was at a different facility at the time and told me someone would be there at night with the dogs. Come to find out, that was not true!!! My dog was left alone with access to his gear and who knows what else, after telling her multiple times he will eat things!!! I am SHOCKED she is still in business. She did not care to address my concerns, instead offered free in home training sessions. Maybe had she 1. Been on time to our previous meetings, 2. Not cancelled last minute, and 3. My dog came home knowing anything. No way I wanted her to continue with us.
