About K9 Proving Ground
We are a family owned dog training and boarding facility.We proudly offer services in various fields of the industry including obedience training, behavioral modification and rehabilitation, law enforcement dogs, and service dogs. Our staff is composed of certified and experienced obedience instructors and police canine instructors and specialize in the areas of on and off leash obedience , narcotics and explosives detection, scent discrimination tracking and trailing, suspect apprehension, canine nutriton, canine first aid and CPR, veterinary assistant, and AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluators.

Kenneled our dog here for a last-minute trip. They made sure she was taken care of while keeping me up-to-date during her entire stay. Kenneled our dog here for a last-minute trip. They made sure she was taken care of while keeping me up-to-date during her entire stay. Their kennels are large and they offered plenty of options to keep our dog enthusiastically entertained while we were away. Staff is knowledgeable and observant, and managed to get our dog to eat consistently, which had always been a problem when boarding her in the past. I recommend K9 for boarding to my closest family and friends and know they won't disappoint!

My dog, Willow, and I just finished six weeks of training at K9 Proving Ground with Alex and his staff. It was a great experience for both Willow and I. The one on one attention was great and frequently other staff members were with us to help work through our fear issues. The grounds and facilities were always clean and well kept. Willow and I have been to other trainers but this was the first time we achieved our goals and gained the confidence we need to be a good team. Thank you Alex, Sherry and all the staff at K9 Proving Ground.

Dropped in during normal business hours to discuss boarding and training. We were not allowed to check out the kennels. That is very alarming as a customer interested in boarding their dog. We toured several facilities that day and this was the only one where we could not check out the facilities. The owner came up with several excuses, none of which seemed to be very valid. Needless to say, we will not be utilizing their services. What were they trying to hide?
Alex is a very good trainer with a great knowledge of dogs. I would highly recommend you take your dog to him, you will be happy and so will your pup.
