K9 Pawfidence

I’m not someone who regularly leaves Google reviews, but when I come across a business owner whose passion and expertise truly stand out, I feel compelled to share my experience. Nikki at K9 Pawfidence is absolutely one of those people. While snow-birding in the Lake Havasu area, I decided to explore adopting a dog and adventure companion. When I visited the Lake Havasu Humane Society and described what I was looking for—both in a dog and in myself as an owner—multiple staff members independently pointed me toward one dog, Missy, and noted she had previously worked with “the top trainer in town” Nikki with K9 Pawfidence, that alone spoke volumes. The Humane Society arranged a meeting and invited Nikki and her husband/partner Jason to join us. Within minutes, it was clear that they are not only knowledgeable and skilled trainers, but also deeply invested in the well-being of both dogs and the people adopting them. Missy’s overall confidence and solid foundation reflected that immediately. What has stood out most is Nikki’s belief that rescue is a two-way street—the dog is being given a home, but the owner is also being trained, supported, and set up for long-term success. That mindset has already shifted how I’ll be approaching this journey. I’ll be in Lake Havasu longer than planned so I can continue working with Nikki, and honestly, most of this training is for me—and that’s exactly how it should be. If you’re looking for someone who combines expertise, honesty, and genuine care, K9 Pawfidence is the real deal.

Nikki with K9 Pawfidence has been a lifesaver!! Anyone who knows boxers knows just how crazy they get! But she has made all the difference in our dude, not only socializing and his manners but agility as well! Every session he comes home a pooped pup. Nikki has also made my husband and I more confident handlers, she is always saying it’s not just about training the dog. We have been working with her for about a year now and will continue to do so because of all the progress we have made and will continue to make. We LOVE Nikki!!

Highly recommended. Nikki helped us out when our previous dog sitter canceled on us within a month of our out of state trip. Very reasonable prices and very dependable. We were sent pictures and videos of our dogs during our time away. It was such a blessing to know my dogs were so well taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about them. She definitely has a way with dogs! Even our “stranger danger” boxer came around to her and become friends! Will not hesitate to use Nikki again for future trips and day check ins!

I am a dog mom of 3. 2 of them are cattledogs. 1 with high anxiety and the other has an extreme passion to work. Nikki is able to work with all of them and meet their individual needs. Her passion, understanding and knowledge of these animals make her more than qualified for preparing them for the highest level of training within their abilities.
