K9 Optima

Josh is “The Dog Whisperer!” We found Josh, of K9 Optima, through Lily’s Legacy where we adopted our Jasper. Jasper is a fabulous golden retriever! He is 8 going on 2! LOL He’s a sweet boy but WAS very excitable, free willed, wicked strong and took me down a couple times with his excitement of on-coming people and/or dogs. A Very friendly and excitable 🐾 He, also, had serious difficulty with recall. Big problem as we live on a busy street. Literally, I was unable to walk my baby boy without my husband present in fear of being pulled down. This is very important as a health condition had left me with an imbalance in my walking, and I can fall down easily, so I was afraid to walk him alone. We took Josh’s 4 session Reactivity Therapy and are thrilled that we did!! Within 1 training session alone, he was much better at recall. Josh is brilliant in his observation, communication, knowledge, training and compassion for and with dogs! From the very beginning, Jasper connected with Josh. He felt safe, secure, and loved. He, also, had a great time and Slept very well! Albeit I’m still careful when other dogs are around, I have this immense sense of confidence and security now when walking Jasper. It was, also, a great pleasure to meet Josh! He is hard working, a good person and noble soul. Albeit we live far from Antioch, we plan on visiting when we can. Jasper calls him “Uncle Josh” so we best visit sooner rather than later! Thanks for the wonderful experience Josh!
