Completed our first session of obedience training. Great session. If I can summarize it in one word or one saying it would be repetition.
Josh has done amazing work with my German Shepherd! I was never comfortable with the idea of board and train until I met Josh and now I have complete peace of mind, knowing my pup is in good hands.

Absolutely incredible trainer. Josh was patient, met my dog where she was at training wise, gave updates and most importantly my dog was happy with him. When I picked her up she kept going back and forth between us soliciting affection from him and you tell how much she liked him. Josh treated her with love, kindness and like she was one of his personal dogs. I cannot recommend K9 Optima enough for training.

Thanks Josh! I am relieved to find a dog behaviorist (along with his skilled canine companion team). Josh is not only talented, but was insightful and helpful for evaluating and advising on how to address my foster pup’s issues. it made me optimistic that this dog can thrive in the right environment and would benefit from professional guidance to work on various behaviors, and to help socialize him in a far safer way (among working on other reactive issues), —let’s face it, youtube videos simply don’t cut it for many/most behavioral issues! I appreciate his candid, straightforward and individualized approach to each dog he works with. I HIGHLY recommend you seek out his assistance and don’t waste your time with the plethora of inexperienced hacks out there.
