Josh was extremely welcoming and friendly. Definitely set us up for success and gave us really good insight on how to keep going about our older dog with her being a little territorial and the signs she’s giving us with the new puppy. 100% recommend Josh.

If you’re deciding where to invest in your dog, this is absolutely where I would put the money. K9 Optima has enabled the relationship and lifestyle with my dog that I had envisioned from the beginning. We had been through other programs that taught us basic obedience and how to manage my dog’s stress in challenging environments. K9 Optima went much deeper. Josh helped me understand my dog’s individual learning style, recognize the true sources of his stress, and work with his natural tendencies rather than constantly manage his behavior. The result has been a lifestyle change for our entire household. Instead of constantly anticipating triggers and managing stress, I have the confidence and tools to enjoy the world with my dog. This mindset shift has been invaluable - Josh’s theoretical understanding of animal behavior could be applied in so many different domains. Incredibly grateful he has chosen to use his gifts to improve the lives of people and their dogs!
