Certified Dog Trainer and Behavioral Specialist serving McHenry County and nearby communities including Woodstock, Crystal Lake, Lake in the Hills and Algonquin. I offer private in-home training and evaluations. I help owners with leash pulling, barking, reactivity, aggression, socializing, puppy help and anxiety using force-free positive reinforcement methods. My experience with Robyn was great! One of my dogs started displaying aggression towards my other dog and she was able help us recognize her signs of stress and make many suggestions on how to help alleviate it. We are now back track to normal life where we can all live in harmony. I would highly recommend K9 Mama to anyone struggling with behavioral issues in their dog.

Robyn came to our home and was absolutely amazing. She took the time to really observe our dogs and tailored enrichment techniques specifically to their needs and personalities. Everything she showed us was practical, easy to implement, and immediately helpful. What stood out most was how calm, knowledgeable, and supportive she was. She explained why things work, not just what to do, which gave us so much more confidence moving forward. You can tell she truly understands dog behavior and genuinely cares about both the dogs and their humans. We walked away with real tools we can use every day, and it already feels like a game changer. I highly recommend Robyn to anyone looking for thoughtful, effective, in-home guidance for their dogs.
Robyn was amazing! She was well organized and was very experienced in behavioral issues in dogs. She did in-home sessions and gave me specific, practical actions I could do to help Ryder, a 6 year old Australian Shepherd rescue. While he is still a work in progress, the training we both received from Robyn will help us to move forward.

Robyn helped us truly understand the root of our dog’s behavior and explained everything in a way that made so much sense. She gave us practical, effective techniques to help build our dog’s confidence and reduce her fear, and we saw an immediate impact. The difference in our dog’s behavior and in our overall quality of life has been incredible. We feel more confident as owners, and our dog is calmer and happier.
