K9 Mama Behavioral Specialist

I adopted a 6 year old Jack Russell/corgi mix from being euthanized due to him being aggressive and extremely reactive to anything that moves. After numerous trainers and putting him on medication, I reached out to Robyn as she works with some of the dogs at the shelter I work at. We scheduled an appointment and she came over and worked with my dog Indy and my family members who he was not sure about. In my head I expected to see something change right away but after learning about dogs and the way they work that was not the case. Coming in on 2 years of adopting Indy I can see the joy in his face and that he is actually enjoying life now, we have been almost a year bite free and he was able to go to a sitter for 2 weeks where he showed no signs of aggression towards the sitter or other dogs in the house (this is huge for him)This journey definitely wasn’t easy but Robyn was my last hope for him and I am so glad I didn’t give up, because you can see the light in his eyes now and the love he has to give is amazing, I cannot imagine life without him. Highly recommend Robyn, she understands these animals and gives them the hope they need.

Robyn is a lifesaver. She is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and patient. Our dog, Gus, is a rescue from a hoarding situation. He has some very serious resource guarding tendencies. My partner and I completed her relationship building package. She walked us through the issues we were having, all while helping us understand our dog’s instincts and emotions. She gives practical solutions and advice. She really takes the time to get to know your family and understand the situation. My boyfriend has been unable to walk around our house without being bit. During our session, we meditated with Gus and eventually he became so calm, he was open to pets from my boyfriend. You could see the stress being lifted off of Gus’ shoulders. Additionally, she leaves you with tools and training resources to utilize on your own, truly allowing you to feel empowered and own the relationship building process. We feel like we have a better understanding of our dog’s natural instincts and emotions. We can’t recommend her enough.
