Kim has an incredible gift for truly understanding dogs. What felt overwhelming to me suddenly made sense, because Kim explained not just what to do, but why it worked. My once wild, energetic puppy is now attentive, calmer, and eager to learn, all while keeping his joyful spirit. Training with Kim never felt forced or rigid, it felt like she was helping us speak the same language as our pup. She has changed our lives for the better.

We started our sweet girl at K9 Kim’s Basic Manners when she was 12 weeks old. We soon realized she would benefit from home schooling/private training in our home. Within a short period of time, Maeve learned all her commands both inside and outside of the home. Who knew inside training with puppies doesn’t mean they have the same knowledge outdoors without practice? Along with private training we took advantage of both half day and full day drop off training to keep up with the good habits and of course socializing. Bonus, Maeve met her bestie, Cahya, on day 1 at K9 Kim’s puppy class!

I can’t say enough about this place. Kim and the whole crew at K9 Kim’s are the best. We have done many classes, social hours, and attend day training once a week. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my pup’s behavior and that’s all thanks to Kim’s great teaching. My dog can barely contain her excitement when we pull up to the center, it’s one of her favorite places. I’m so thankful to have found a place and trainer I trust so much.
