K9 Intuition Training has been an outstanding experience! The hands-on approach is invaluable and really highlights the accountability and commitment required from owners. The 5-step program was clear, practical, and very effective if you’re willing to put in the time. Stefano was extremely supportive and pushed us toward excellence every step of the way. Stefano, Candice and K9 Intuition changed my life and couldn’t recommend them more strongly. I was having a hard time with my pack of 4 dogs. One of them almost killed another one in my pack. I connected w Stefano to work w the culprit of the situation. He put me through a 5week program that I finished and used to train the rest of my dogs. Upon completion of the program w all my dogs: WOW! My house went from chaotic to organized and peaceful and my dogs are able to mingle again and now even walk in heel and have recall off leash. I have even received compliments on the street by how well behaved Jasper walks on leash (which was not even my goal, I wanted her not to attack the others in the pack, but it’s an amazing nice-to-have) Unbelievably good training program. Hands down THE best trainer ever. Warning: you do have to put the work EVERY day rain or shine to see results, but the hard work is only a few weeks and after that the program becomes muscle memory and it’s easy to keep for life with a few minutes a day. Totally worth it!

Training with Stefano at K9 Intuition has been a positive and insightful learning experience for my sister and me. We’re very happy we chose K9 Intuition to work with Dexter, our 4-year-old rescue Cane Corso. Not only did we learn how to properly and effectively use the e-collar, but more importantly, we shifted our perspective—from seeing e-collar training as a form of punishment to understanding it for what it actually is: a communication tool. Yes, using an e-collar can be emotionally challenging. However, with a dog who is twice our size and significantly stronger, there’s no room for emotion when safety is at stake. To keep our dog and others safe, we had to reframe our understanding of e-collar training. Stefano guided us step by step, helping us build a deeper connection with Dexter while improving our ability to handle him confidently. After every session, we left feeling more knowledgeable and more capable of managing our 140-pound dog. Since training, we’ve seen a noticeable increase in Dexter’s alertness, engagement, and the strength of our bond with him. A quick story: Dexter once dragged me down the street as he aggressively reacted to a man walking five dogs across the road. I didn’t know how to handle the situation, and I mistimed the e-collar correction. Fortunately, the man changed direction and we avoided further conflict. I never want to experience something like that again. Now, if we were to face a similar situation, we’d know how to respond proactively instead of reacting out of panic. We’ve learned how to read Dexter’s body language and use the e-collar with the right timing to prevent escalation. If you’re open to e-collar training, we would definitely recommend K9 Intuition. Important note: Going through the program and learning the steps won’t make a difference unless you put in the time to practice and stay consistent.

I am truly SO grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the K9 intuition program. I drove 5 hours round trip each week to train with Stefano. My dog Ace was, and partially still is, incredibly stubborn. Stefano not only helped Ace become more responsive and focused, he helped me build confidence as a dog owner. Thanks to Stefano, I now have the tools and mindset to lead Ace with clarity and patience. I can’t recommend him highly enough! I cannot say enough good things about this program. We rescued a puppy, Benny, who was very traumatized. She was anxious, aggressive toward strangers and had very little confidence in herself. As soon as Stefano met her and saw us interact together, he pointed a few things out and gave some suggestions that already made a world of difference. After our first session, I finally had a line of communication with Benny and we could start to understand each other. If you’re willing to put in the time and dedication to your pet, there is no failing this program. We did the 5 step program which included 5, 1 hour sessions. I have a completely different dog who is happy, silly, playful and sweet with other dogs and humans. I didn’t think it was possible but these people know what they’re doing. They love animals and they just want to see them thrive! I will definitely be back for group classes in the future.
