K9 Intuition Dog Training

We got our dog Reagan as a rescue from the West Valley Animal shelter. She had a bunch of issues but most importantly, no matter what we did she did not listen to us and had very little respect with us. K9 intuition gave me the tools to communicate with her effectively. We tried other trainers first, and those made her worse, honestly. Stefano was very honest with us during the initial consult, the harness and other methods we had been taught were not going to work with this dog. I was skeptical with the e-collar at first, and now we literally use it every day. We went from full on leash pulling just in our yard to complete loose leash walking on hikes together. The best part is, this didn't change her personality or "crush" her spirit like some training methods. She will "place" herself onto her place bed and chill there for hours, which is a huge improvement from her pacing for hours and hours. She still has a difficult time with other dogs, but we've accepted we can't make her like other dogs, and we work with the tools we have. To anyone with a reactive dog, give these people a shot! I'm so glad I did.

I have been on an intense training journey with my dog Maru. We tried many trainers before to achieve different stages of developmental in our dog training journey. My last training goal was to do off leash recall for Maru and I to enjoy hikes. Maru can look like a sweet angel, but when he is in nature he channels his natural instincts and it makes hikes unpleasant due to consult corrections. Stefano made that goal a reality! Kayla was such an amazing person to work with! My little girl Freya is a Great Pyrenees Lab mix and I was getting so stressed at not knowing how to train her and teach both her and myself good habits. I had reached out through yelp and Stefano was so quick to answer and walk me through everything they offered and which program he felt would be best. She is such a well behaved girl now and so attentive with her listening! Kayla really helped make this a personal training experience instead of a cookie cutter “here’s what I do for all dogs” type session. I have a reactive power breed and doing the 5-step program was the best decision I ever made. Noah was my trainer and he was absolutely amazing. He was very informative and patient with me, he didn’t sugar coat my mistakes which was definitely why I needed, not only for my confidence but for the well being of my dog. Every session he would quiz me to make sure I knew and understood each step. I was also away for a week and used their dog boarding and that was also a 10/10. Noah was also the one who took care of my dog during that time and was great with her. I could write a book on how amazing the program is and how knowledgeable Noah is.
