K9 Instincts

Shout out to K-9 instincts for helping my 8 month-old German Shepherd adolescent with some much needed manners. Monty was difficult to control, didn’t know his own strength, was stubborn, driven, often reactive, and he really struggled to settle down. I think he really wanted to be a good boy, but just didn’t know how. In his 3 week stay with K-9, Brit, Emily, and Matt transformed Monty to a point where he was focused and mindful of his place in our home. Although much follow-up work needed to be done after he returned home and we continue to train and correct inappropriate behaviors, Monty is in our control at all times and that is a necessity when you want to have a balanced and calm household. Not only did they give us a great starting point, but they have been phenomenal about taking follow up questions. They don’t just give you your dog back and say “good luck”. They are invested in your dog’s success and their follow through is much appreciated. I know I can call them in a year if I have a question and they will help me. Doggy owners still have to do the work to train in the months after the board and train, but with consistency and the knowledge received from the K-9 instincts team, you will have a well-behaved dog you can be proud of. I would recommend this company highly and I feel it was well worth the money invested to have a happy dog we can take anywhere.

It has been six months since my dogs went to K9 instincts. What a life changing experience it has been. I love my dogs, always have, but now I actually ENJOY walks, and being in the yard or taking them places without having to worry how they will behave.This was 100% worth the time away from them, and the money spent. If I have another dog the only thing I would do differently is go sooner! My dogs were a year old when they went. Do this for you and your dogs, they will truly be happier as well!

What a class act company. Margie is a young, under 1 year old, mixed rescue. Timid, anxious, separation issues, jumping, and just could not get her used to a kennel when needed. Picked her up 30 days later ( btw- more anxious for me than her lol) and she is a different, but still playful pup! She listens to commands, has ceased jumping on the g- babies, no anxiousness with the kennel- it’s her safe space! This service was worth every single dime I paid! Emily and Matt answer all my questions within minutes- and as a new educated dog mom, there’s been a ton since we left! Thank you K9 Instincts! Margie and family are so grateful!
