FirstBarkK9 Good Manners was recommended to me by my veterinarian who had used John to train her dog who was a difficult case. My Malinois was very strong willed and John had her performing tasks I had no hope of accomplishing. He taught her to enjoy doing what we asked. If he was closer she would still be working with him frequently.

John’s the real life dog whisperer. My dog Shae was a good dog but she certainly had some quirks. 6 weeks later not only is she an amazing listener now but her confidence was through the roof. Noticeably around other dogs and in public places. It changed her for the best several fold over and 6 years later Its still the best decision I ever made for my best friend.
The crew at K9 Good Manners did amazing work with our German shepherd puppy. I can’t say enough good things about they way they treat the dogs and their human customers.

I’ve rescued all my life. The ones who touch my heart are blind, old or abused. Naturally, they frequently come with baggage that doesn’t always allow them to merge into the family well. I’ve had two who were on their own during their formative months or years. They were accustomed to making their own choices and decisions. Pleasing me didn’t enter into our relationships. So, coming when called and obeying more complicated commands were non-existent. I’m not good with training. No patience. I found K9 Good Manners and John online. I was sooo impressed with the results with the first dog he trained for me. My dog respected me and obeyed, improving our relationship for the rest of his life after being trained by John. When I rescued the other big guy (pictured) who felt he could take care of himself with no help from me, John again came to my rescue. This big guy and I now thoroughly enjoy each other. They’re such fun to be with when they respond because they respect you and want to obey. John teaches them that with positive reinforcement and respect for them. Through the years, I’ve sent 4 of my friends to K9 Good Manners also. We all love him.
Took our boy Beaux (Doberman Pinscher, I think he was about 2yo at the time) and it was the best money I’ve ever spent. We drove him out from TX and then drove back to pick him up and he his behavior and patience improved greatly. Training was in 2009 before we moved to Germany. Beaux had a great life and was a well behaved boy thanks to John with K9 Good Manners. 💙 John did an amazing job training boy Beaux, he was professional and had no problem answering questions for us later on if needed.
