K9 Good Manners

K9 Good Manners is 10/10! I had a new to me adult dog who had zero focus, horrible leash pulling and zero impulse control. John with K9 Good Manners has turned him into a dog that can walk by my side with focus through distractions and down stay as I walk away! They're one of the few trainers that offer a 6 week board and train, there is no way this much progress would have happened in the average 3 week board and train. John and Tonya treated my dog as one of their own and sent photos and video updates on his progress. Plus, they use positive reinforcement and repetition for training so my dog kept his big goofball personality but is much more confident and obedient now!

We originally worked with John over 12 years ago, and recently brought our dog back for a refresher—and the results have been incredible. After just two weeks, our dog is already so much better behaved. It’s amazing to see that old dogs really can remember what they’ve learned! John and his team did a fantastic job reinforcing good habits and bringing everything back on track. Their experience, patience, and clear communication made all the difference. Honestly, if it weren’t for K9 Good Manners, we’d probably be struggling with our dog’s behavior for the rest of his life. We’re so grateful for the transformation and highly recommend him to anyone needing a skilled and trustworthy trainer.

I would highly recommend John and Tonya for training. I had a wonderful experience with the both of them and my German Shepherd puppy. I got my puppy when he was eight weeks old and sent him off to training when he was 10 weeks old. After the training, he came back a completely different dog, In a good way. He was obedient, socialized, with other animals, and people, was no longer biting people, and just his overall temperament was better. John and Tonya were always available to answer questions, send pictures, give status updates, and even after training both are available at any time for me to reach out to. John also continued to assist me with training even after the training classes were over. I never felt that I was a bother to them and they were always very helpful to answer any questions. I highly recommend this dog training and feel that I’ve received exceptional care. I also feel my dog received exceptional care as well.

I live next door to K9 Good Manners in TAYLORS, SC, and I highly recommend them to anyone who loves their dog and wants to build a positive, healthy relationship with them. John and Tonya love and care for all animals, especially dogs. They see the beauty in all animals, and it shows in the way that they train and take care of your pets. They use commands rather than e-collars, which is important to me. They train dogs and their humans, so owners can reiterate the training at home. They're also great with boarding and letting our dogs out when we're out of town :-) I can't recommend them enough!
