K9 Evolutions Dog Training

We initially did the on leash basic training where we went to Jesse’s and he worked with us directly on how to teach our dogs proper leash walking, basic commands, and recall. That went so well we signed them up for the off leash board and train. When I tell you our dogs are night and day different in terms of obedience due to Jesse’s training I am not lying! I mean wow! I highly recommend him because if you’re willing to put in some work to get your dog where you want them to be, you will be highly impressed. If you need a trainer, call Jesse. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a great experience with Rue’s board-and-stay leash training program! Coach Jesse is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly takes a lot of pride in what he does. I especially enjoyed being able to follow along through his Instagram posts while Rue was away. It was reassuring to see how she was doing, what she was learning, and the progress she was making throughout her stay. The going-home class was also a great experience. He was thorough, patient, and did an excellent job explaining everything to us as new handlers. I was especially impressed with the analogies he used to help the training techniques really “click” and make sense. Most importantly, it was clear that Rue was well cared for while she was there. We’re so excited to have her back home and feel like she came home with a great foundation for us to continue building on. Highly recommend!

It has been an absolute pleasure working with coach Jesse. I could not stress enough how fundamental his instruction and support has been during my basic obedience training duration. I came to Jesse with a 16 week old Doberman puppy and already at 25 weeks old, both my puppy and I have come so far. Not only does Jesse help your dog understand commands, but he teaches you how to be a better handler—I am a better handler because of him, and I understand my puppy far more than I would have on my own. He teaches you the how, why, and psychology behind his methods. Additionally, Jesse has made himself readily available for me to ask questions or discuss any concerns I have when training on my own. He truly cares, my pup has fun while learning, and I will definitely continue working with him as my pup discovers his line of sport.

We have had an amazing experience with Jessie and K9 Evolutions. It has been everything we wanted when we looked for a trainer. Jessie has a special connection with dogs - he is loving and caring while clearly communicating with them and has taught our puppy not only commands but also self control and confidence. Jessie is also very good at working with the humans! He responds to all communications in a timely manner, his daily videos are super cool and he works with you to help you work with the dog. Doug has come home as the same happy, goofy guy he was before, but with better manners, better listening skills and we can walk him in the neighborhood without dreading seeing other dogs. I highly recommend K9 Evolutions and look forward to Jessie being with us to support Doug becoming a well behaved but loving family pet for years to come.

I have a 1 year old Belgian Malinois named Hazel. Throughout her first year I took her everywhere I could with me, multiple trips to the park per week, hiking on the weekends, home improvement trips to Lowe's and anywhere in between. A few months ago she started showing some reactivity towards other people and dogs. Small at first, but then quickly exploding into an every time we leave the house situation. I didnt feel comfortable or safe taking her for our playtime in the park anymore and dreaded going on walks out of fear she would get spun up and start lunging at people and dogs. Our daily exercise and training became confined to my back yard. I knew this wasn't the life I wanted to lead and something needed to be done ASAP. I found Jesse online and spent a few weeks following his social media to see how he interacted with dogs, reading his blogs and looking at his training methods and decided this would be the person I felt would understand the situation, be comfortable with strong working breeds, and be able to help me get this under control, and boy, was I correct. He helped me understand what she needed the most and helped me reign in my training skills and prepared me on how to handle these intense situations once the arose. His methods were clear and concise, training sessions were fun and addressed the specific issues we were having, and sent me home with lesson summaries that I could easily follow and refer back to. In the few weeks ive worked with him, Hazel has transformed into a much more confident and well behaved dog, and Ive become a better handler. We are now able to get back out to the parks, go on hikes, and I feel comfortable taking her with me everywhere. I feel like ive gotten my life back and more importantly strengthened the bond that I already had with my best for legged friend.
