FirstBarkDenise is a fantastic trainer. Luna, a 2-year old Irish Setter, came to us as a rescue full of energy and all of the bad habits acquired along the way. She was challenging for this senior couple to deal with. within days after Denise began her training , Luna settled down and has become a sweetheart. Denise's training was the difference between keeping Luna and letting her go.

She pulled and lunged on the leash, darted out the door and chased everything, etc. Thanks to Denise’s expert training, Luna learned very quickly and, is now a well-behaved dog. Denise not only trains your dog, she also spent a lot of time training us. If you are looking for someone to train and love your dog, call K9 Compass. You won’t be disappointed.

Denise is a very talented trainer! Within the first few days of training, we could already see a huge improvement in the behavior of our 7 month old puppy, Hank. She was able to work on his puppy “attitude” when it comes to pulling, getting out of the car, and general car manners. His anxiety in public is much better after her real world training experiences. We will be recommending her to everyone we know with dogs. A bonus was the amazing pictures she was able to get of Hank!
Id give a thousand stars if I could. Denise is a skilled trainer that has allowed us to love our dog even more. She's engaged and communicates thoroughly to ensure we understand exactly what's being taught. Can't recommend her more!

Riley gives Denise 4 paws way way up! Denise is a dog whisperer. Somehow she turned a crazy, hyper, scent driven dog into something more manageable. Going for walks isnt such a miserable experience anymore and Riley has learned that she needs to listen more often. Riley is much better off leash now. Not only has Denise taught Riley better behavior, but she has taught me how to correct difficult behavior. Denise also gives the pet parent a glimpse of the dogs training day by sending pictures and explanatory videos of her training techniques. I would recommend Denise to anyone who is in need of dog training.
