We wanted training for our puppy to learn how to behave nicely around and with children, and Sierra was exactly what we needed. She took the time to teach us what to do and gave us practical tools we could use every day. Our puppy learned so much, and we felt confident putting those skills into practice. Recently, my daughter and I had the pleasure of babysitting, and I was so proud of Paxton. As my 11-year-old daughter read and played with the infant, Paxton sat right beside them, calmly listening to the stories. During playtime, he stayed cozy next to them, gentle and relaxed. It was such a reassuring moment and truly showed how much he learned. We’re so grateful to Sierra for helping set Paxton up for success!

We sent our adolescent doberman, Odin, to Sierra for a customized boarding and training program, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Odin had already completed formal training, so he didn’t need a full three-week program - and K9 Commutation tailored everything specifically to what he needed. While Odin had strong commands at home, our main goal was helping him feel more relaxed in public and neutral around other dogs. Working with Sierra was the perfect fit. Her training focuses on practical, real-world scenarios, which made a huge difference for Odin. As an added bonus, her facility allows for plenty of roaming and sniff time, so the dogs are mentally fulfilled and happy, not just trained. Since completing training, we regularly send Odin back for boarding and brush-ups when we travel. He always comes home sharp, confident, and clearly having had a blast - whether he’s playing with his dog friends or working one-on-one with Sierra. Odin is a 90-lb dog in his silly adolescent phase, so having a strong, respectful relationship with him is incredibly important. Sierra has been a big part of our success, and it’s the best feeling to be out in public and hear people comment on how well-behaved he is. We truly can’t recommend her enough.

Sierra came to train my two dogs in 2024. (She had worked for a private training company at the time). My two boys had been rescued from the streets of Houston. No manners at all. They were tough! She showed up (all 90 lbs. soaking wet) and proceeded to get my two lab/pit mixes to listen, sit, stay, rollover, follow commands, walk on a leash without pulling. She is incredible. She just knows dogs. What they are thinking, feeling, saying. She taught me so much. So, of course, I called her when I wanted my two boys to be able to run my 10 acres without having to be on a leash using an e-collar. (She had started her own training business by now) She worked with them and me to get them to that goal. My two boys passed their “final exam” today with flying colors. They are able to run/walk on my property without a leash using an e-collar. Sierra is the one and only person that I will ever call to train a dog. She cares. She’s invested in making your dog a better dog. As long as you also put in the time with your dog you will never be disappointed.

I cannot recommend Sierra enough! We started bringing our 4/5-month-old puppy, Willy, for training and have already seen such amazing progress. She has helped us lay the groundwork in so many important areas: loose leash walking, confidence building, desensitization, the beginning foundations of “leave it” & recall and more! We also previously booked a weekend Board & Brush session and we felt 100% comfortable leaving Willy in her care. She took such great care of him and kept us updated which gave us total peace of mind. Even better that we got pics& videos! Her training style is patient, knowledgeable and very supportive. She not only works with the dog but also gives us the tools and confidence to continue building at home. We already have plans to book Board and Brush sessions as well as future training with Willy. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about dogs and their people, Sierra is the one!
