I have a few more private lessons remaining with Clare at K9 College Dog Training and the difference with my Australian Shepherd pup, Harley, so far has been night and day. The issues I was previously having with my pup related to territorial barking/aggression and nonstop leash-pulling. Clare first diagnoses the root of the problem, which in my case, was that Harley was not focused on me at all outside and this resulted in her being fearful. After several weeks of building the relationship and pup's confidence through a variety of exercises/games, she now checks in with me much more often outside. This, compounded with her increasing confidence, has greatly strengthened our bond and communication and it has made a huge difference in reducing the territorial barking and leash-pulling. Still have a few sessions left but I'm slowly getting more and more glimpses of the model dog Harley will become. Highly recommend!!
