FirstBarkStarted my pup there ‘cause she liked having something to do; a year later she has her CGC, does scent work reliably, and has some trick titles. It has been so fun learning about dog training in this safe, professional, and kind environment.

Clare is a great trainer
If you have a working dog, especially an anxious or reactive working dog, I do not recommend this class. Working dogs build confidence by having a job. If you don't give them one, they will find one. If you have a working dog, especially an anxious or reactive working dog, I do not recommend this class. Working dogs build confidence by having a job. If you don't give them one, they will find one. This class gives them too much liberty to be in charge. While allowing dogs freedom to make their own choices is helpful for building confidence in most dogs, it's not beneficial for working dogs with any behavioral problems. Additionally, this class is structured more like an agility/obedience combo rather than an obedience class. This is a fun way to learn for most dogs, but again is not helpful for working dogs with behavioral issues.
I highly recommend K9cdt! Claire and her staff are knowledgeable and dedicated in helping each owner and their dog to be successful. My dog really enjoys her classes because they make learning fun! She is so happy when we arrive at class each week and has accomplished so much more than I expected!

I have taken both of my pups to Clare. She is AMAZING! Because of her classes, Gizmo and Millie can lay at my feet when we go to a brewery! They know when they are allowed to be social and when to be calm. Both pups love going to class! Clare is very clear in her instruction and classes are game based. I highly recommend her! She also uses little beds in class that help separate the pups and provide a nice boundary.
