Nino and Taylor took great care of our German Shepherd, River. River went in for board and train for 10 weeks and she was scared of other dogs, not off leash at all, uncontrollable at stores and on walks. After 10 weeks she was still her quirky self, but she wanted to make us happy by being obedient. River learned heal, wait, place, easy, off leash. She even learned how to jump up in the car. Although she still isn't comfortable around all dogs, she does have a better understanding that she can get to know others and then she is fine. The boarding facility is very clean. They are well organized too. Taylor became my dogs best friend and she was really helpful when it came to teaching us. You can tell she cares a lot about the dogs when you see her work with the dogs. I do wish every week we got more of an update on her training and more pictures especially because we lived so far away. They run the business much different than others, but in a good way. It is worth a visit to see if you like the place! Heated floors, cameras everywhere, fenced in property, and like I said clean and organized.

I’d like to start out by saying Nino and Taylor are amazing. They have both helped us out by saving us from our situation we were too stubborn to change ourselves (sorry for the lack of context). We currently have one of their pups and couldn’t be happier. He is a wonderful addition to our family and our 5yo boy loves him so much, they get along amazing. Their training is top notch, and our family is amazed by how well he behaves as we take him to all our family gatherings. As frequent travelers they are always accommodating, and our pup is always excited to stay with them. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff as well.

We did a board and train with our 2 very stubborn mixed breed doggos. They did a great job with controlling their hyper excitability, jumping, barking amd overall not listening. Our dogs are no longer "rude". They are actually a pleasure to take out and are very respectful of people and other animals. Big thank you to Taylor, Deavon and Nino. Plus all the behind the scenes people that loved on them and made their stay easier.

There’s so much I can say about K9 Academy, but I will start off by saying that they are professional and they produce lasting results. I used to work for Nino the owner over 10 years ago and when I got a dog I knew I could trust them with my family pet. Our dog was dealing with anxiety and lacked confidence, she was also being aggressive towards dogs and people. When we got our dog back she was completely different, listened on command and her temperament was improved. Since we’ve had her home she is wonderful with others dogs, she listens well and over time she’s come to trust people and has made lots of new friends. Because we have children and knowing that we would have other children around it was important to us to have a well behaved dog and K9 Academy has transformed our dog into a wonderful family pet. Although our dog was away from us while being trained it was worth the time and money spent for the peace of mind we have. I highly recommend K9 Academy and their professional staff to anyone with a dog.
