We recently completed an 8-week program with K9 Academy International for our 1-year-old Springer Spaniel, and we couldn't be happier with the results. They are all exceptionally knowledgeable, effective, and provided a safe, structured environment for our dog throughout the entire process. The training covered everything from loose-leash walking to the fundamental manners needed for a well-behaved dog. Our pup had had a bad experience with a daycare facility which caused him to be fearful of people and unknown circumstances. K9 took us in and they were incredibly honest from the beginning. They let us know that it would take time for our pup to trust them and that when that occurred they could train him to be an obedient yet loving addition to our family. We always found our boy to be sweet, but a little bit out of control. Since he has come home and with K9’s firm but patient kindness, he is everything we talked about him growing into prior to training. So far, with our reinforcement per k9’s handler training, the behaviors that made living with him challenging, despite how much we loved him are all under control with little but consistent reinforcement. These are true professionals who are completely dedicated, loving, family, and animal focused people who deserve all the kudos in the world. Highly highly recommend!
