K-Nine Solutions Dog Training

The dog specialists at K-Nine Solutions are wonderful! My dog is blind and they have gone above and beyond to make his time in daycare a great experience for him. Before I brought him he was very fearful of other dogs but in no time they found a group of dogs for him to socialize with, include him in everything possible, but are also mindful of when he needs quiet time. Now he is calm and happy when I leave him, but still happy to see me when I pick him up. They seem to take all the necessary steps to make sure each dog is treated individually in terms of activity, training, and personal attention. I won't take Buddy anywhere else!

I was anxious about leaving our 6-month old puppy, Pepper, for her first boarding experience, so was so fortunate to find K-Nine Solutions and the K-Nine Ranch. The staff are friendly and professional, and are obviously devoted to the dogs in their care. Boarding dogs get plenty of outside time to socialize (while supervised) with other dogs, and there is someone on-site 24/7. Pepper came home happy and tired, in a good way. After Pepper's visit, we received a report card about her stay and photos of Pepper playing with her buddies at the Ranch. We will definitely be returning for our boarding needs, and I would highly recommend it.

Both my bulldogs have been to the SY Ranch for training and boarding. They went from being totally out of my control to now understanding some basic obedience commands. And they’re a dream to walk on a leash now too..no more pulling or lunging at people or other dogs. The boarding experience was wonderful too. My dogs were well cared for and not the least bit anxious when I picked them up. All the training staff has been great to work with and they are very knowledgeable. I highly recommend K-Nine Solutions.

My experience with K-Nine Solutions and Justin in particular, (since he has been the person I’ve worked with in training my dog) has been absolutely wonderful! All of the staff has been extremely professional and very pleasant to work with! Justin is very kind and patient with me, since I’m the real student here; Buttercup will do as well as I do, since I am her teacher. I have fibromyalgia, which hinders my ability to be consistent and Justin has been very accommodating and flexible with regards to my needs. Justin’s an absolute expert in his field and did an amazing job assessing my 6 year old pit bull mix, Buttercup’s particular issues and behavioral challenges - specifically impulse control and dog reactivity while on leash and in the car. Strangely enough, she is dog friendly and plays well with dogs once introduced, but pinpointing her issues has truly helped in understanding her and her specific training needs. I have purchased a series of ten one on one training sessions and am looking forward to seeing Buttercup’s progress. I have only done a couple of sessions and am already seeing positive results. I also regularly use K-Nine Solutions’ boarding and daycare accommodations for Buttercup at their K-Nine Solutions Santa Ynez Ranch location as I live in Buellton. It has been a lifesaver and cherished resource for us up here in The Valley. We know Buttercup is in excellent hands and she benefits from being with handlers who are very experienced in dog behavior and handling. It also gives her wonderful dog and people socialization and she absolutely LOVES going there! K-Nine Solutions is a top notch facility with an exceptional staff. I highly recommend them!
