K-9 Top Performance

In November, my wife and I made the decision to bring our dog, Tucker, to Top K-9 performance for their 6 week behavior modification program. We love Tucker, but 6 months after rescuing him he began to exhibit aggressive behavior which culminated in a minor bite incident. Furthermore, our walks became a tugging wars, where the dog would lunge at cars, other dogs and even people. My wife and I became very anxious about his unpredictable behavior and we were fearful to bring him anywhere. Once we found out my wife was pregnant we determined that Tucker was too much for us to handle. Not wanting to give him up as he is a big part of our family we looked into the services that Top K-9 performance provide. We enrolled our dog into the program and after 6 weeks he came back a new dog. We learned what his triggers were and how to interact with our dog as pack leaders. It has been nearly 6 weeks since we picked Tucker up and while he still has aggression we now know how to respond to it and, more importantly, control it. What we find is not only are we much happier but so is Tucker.
