Sergio‘s love and passion for animals is very evident, as well as the staff that accompany him at K-9 & Pets Training Center. Sergio and his team became a part of our family. Thank you for caring for our dog Ramsay. From obedience training, to teaching and guiding us how to safely handle our dog, to boarding we are forever grateful for your help over the years and taking good care of him. We learned life-long invaluable skills as owners and we were able to navigate many years safely with a dog with aggressive tendencies. I have a 16 lb chihuahua mix who believe it or not, ran the household.. and every walk we took. He was very reactive in public and I dreamed of being able to confidently take him out. After going through the obedience training and continuing to train him at home, I can walk through Walmart with him staying at my heel and he will sit as I check out. He still has his moments but I have the know how to guide him in the right direction thanks to K-9 & Pets Dog Training.

I recently got a new younger dog to be a companion to my older dog. Unfortunately they were not immediate friends like I had been hoping and I had to break up fights before separating them. I was worried I had made the worst mistake and reached out to a few trainers for advice. Luckily, Sergio had an opening that day and I was able to bring them both to him. Not only was he able to witness their behavior together, he was able to reassure me that everything was normal, what to look for and tips in order to gradually introduce them. He was able to interpret their body language ("I speak dog" he said!) and let me know that no I did not make a mistake and that they would become friends over time with gentle interactions and co-walks and that the younger dog would help bring our the confidence in my older dog. A week later and we are showing GREAT improvement! They still can't interact together unsupervised but they are much calmer together and I can tell that with the tips Sergio gave me and continued training, they WILL be the best of friends. I can't thank Sergio enough for the reassurance and confidence he gave me during that session and highly recommend him to anyone look for an effective trainer who actually cares about the well-being of both dog and owner.

Terrible experience. Once again I’m writing my review because it has somehow been deleted! I went in looking for 1 on 1 dog training for my puppy. Sergio said he could give me $80 off of 6 sessions if I paid in full at that moment. I paid $600 for 6 sessions that were all booked at that initial consultation. The first session went terrible as Sergio was training a new employee during my paid session and had to leave the room multiple times. 1 hour session turned into 2 hours and NOTHING was accomplished. The next 2 sessions he needed to reschedule. I called and emailed asking for PARTIAL refund letting them know it was not going to work out. The woman on the phone told me twice that Sergio will get back to me. It’s been 4 months now and Sergio has NOT responded and has scammed me of $600. Beware of this shady business!! I will keep reposting my comment every time they take it down!
