Hi Pamela! Sorry for the late response. The best way to start is to come in for a free consultation. Our pricing for the 4 week Board and Train starts at 5,000 for the dog to stay at the trainers house, learn come, sit, down, bed, leash manners, solid foundation for off leash obedience, followed with crate manners, how to greet people and any other issues they might currently have. The training is very comprehensive to insure the dogs whole life is well rounded with some fun and obedience.

Do you help with potty training a fog. I have a 7 month old king Charles spaniel n bischon mix who still poops on puppy pads in the house. I have had her for 2 mos n I had her spayed. And if so what is the cost

Hi Pat! Sorry about the late response! Great question! We are experts in teaching and helping our customers teach their dog to be potty trained. There are many facets that go into it but it’s not impossible! We always recommend for people with this issue to call us and start a program right away bc it all related obedience and bodily issues when put into a structured environment help the dog to adjust quicker and make the changes faster. I would call and ask. We struggled with our dog until this past month. She is 9 months old. She is in obedience class there for two months. My advice is to give it time. Is your dog crate trained?

I have a Basenji who has become very stubborn. When I walk her if she wants to go a different way she will pull so hard I have fallen, bruised and I am 70 yrs old she is 4 yrs old. Is it too late to retrain her and what would the cost be?

If I were you I would call the staff at K9 concepts, I'm not sure they monitor this. I can tell you that our 19 month old mixed breed has shown marked improvement since we started attending class and, using their methods on our 6 yr old lab, we have been able to train her.

I have personally seen "mature" people in the class while attending. The basic obedience class they have is $1200.

Or another great class is the loose leash walking class geared right toward learning to walk nicely on a leash with distractions! Our pricing starts at $700 and up. There are puppies in the puppy class that are 8 weeks. You can enroll your puppy to socialize them and learn ways to help them with training.

Hi Debbie! Great question! The best age to start training your puppy is as soon as the get home! Creating structure and balance to help the pup learn! We recommend people with puppies come asap to start the learn so that they are prepared fully and don’t feel as overwhelmed as the puppy does puppy behavior. Our puppy class is great for potty training, socialization, pulling, biting, barking, jumping, chewing to help the owner learn what are the stages of development and how to manage them!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this dog training service and the incredible work that Bill, Ariana, Rob, and Kristen put into helping our pup. When we first started, our dog was full of energy, wild, and difficult to manage around the house. We were worried about how we would be able to create a safe and comfortable environment, especially with my disabled mom at home. Through their patience, knowledge, and dedication, they completely transformed our pup. They taught our dog structure, manners, and how to listen while still allowing them to be their happy, loving self. The difference has been truly amazing. Our dog is now calmer, more respectful, and able to be around my mom safely and comfortably. Bill, Ariana, Rob, and Kristen went above and beyond to understand our situation and work with our family. They didn’t just train our dog—they helped improve our entire household dynamic. We are incredibly grateful for their compassion, professionalism, and the positive impact they have made in our lives. i don’t write reviews, this is my first. i am a positive person, but If i could rate this place 0 stars, i would. i have an incredible sense for a safe place for dogs. so, after recently hearing the horror stories of deaths of dogs from boarding in the past year, look up Pneuma + Melo and Benny, i figured i should speak up about my brief experience here and hopefully, my warning is headed. i don’t care how many good reviews, i can only be honest. i brought my dog in for a scheduled tour for agility course. scheduling the tour was odd. communication came from different individuals, indicating a level of disorganization. i was suspicious, but i showed up with my dog. immediately entering the facility i was OVERWHELMED and so was my sensitive dog. dogs barking in the boarding room to the left upon entrance and young staff fluttering around without a smile on their face with various dogs. i was met with the owner, or an older man clearly in charge, and told to take my dog to the kennel to hangout while we toured. i did so, and i was shocked at the kenneling. it was like prison, and my heart sank when i had to lock my dog in and she stared at me like i was abandoning her. MY GUT told me to get the heck out, immediately, no discussion. but i ignored it. we were met with a “trainer” and a reactive shepherd. the owner went on and on about proper training for a dog, alpha this, negative reinforcement strategies, and i found myself at ODDS with their techniques. i have amateur dog training skills, but i have strong morals. i came here SIMPLY for the outdoor agility course, NOT behavior training, not boarding. he took us to the back, and MY JAW DROPPED. The back was a pathetic, tore up yard, barely 500 sq feet, hap hazard and unusable agility equipment, and a dozen families with their dogs doing basically NOTHING sitting around a picnic table. he sheepishly admitted the agility wasn’t ready this season, but maybe in the future. i told him it’s the whole reason we’re here… he droned on and on, and my husband and i stared in astonishment at the backyard. i was uneasy the whole time. we high tailed it out of there, i booked it to my dog, and ferociously apologized to her, and we never ever looked back. this was in 2023 or 2024, but either way, i remember this 15 minutes of HELL like yesterday. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

It is policy we secure a dog in a safe manner to tour our facility. We have ruffland crates and a metal standup that is fully secured bc we do have aggressive dogs that come for evaluations. Sorry that didn’t meet your expectations. A few things we want to clarify for anyone reading: our facility is NOT related to the Pneuma/ Melo / Benny situation from a trainer in California. Just for clarity and remove confusion. Also, agility is an added bonus for training and boarding clients. It is not a primary service we provide. We have a A frame, tunnel, jumps and a dog walk. I’m sorry you didn’t get to tour our kennels as we keep them immaculate. We pride our selves in cleanliness and high standard of care and safety for our dogs and clients. Our kenneling and boarding areas also meet licensed, insured facility standards, and we're always happy to walk any client through our safety protocols in detail. They have been amazing. Very personable, remember faces easily. Their tips and tricks have been amazing. My dog has been to one class so far but the improvement is beyond belief. I would highly recommend, and the training is worth every penny.
