The best investment after welcoming our new pup to the family! The obedience and home training and management was a game-changer. The foundational training for both our dog and for us really set us up for success. We’re definitely going forward much more confidentially together. The staff is phenomenal. They are knowledgeable and engaging, and kept us informed at every step along the way. We’re looking forward to our field training visits and future training opportunities. We give it two thumbs - and paws! - up.

I understand I’m the outlier here and everyone for the most part has had great experiences, which is what makes mine even more odd.. I reached out this last week to inquire about their veteran program for service dogs and bootcamp. Gave Karen all my info and let her know I had a 15 week shepherd and a 4 year old shepherd. My 4 year old was trained by DTE and haven’t worked with them in over a year and a half at this point. We ended the phone call and then she followed up via text asking me some random questions that didn’t really make sense to me and then after I tried reaching out via phone. She texted me after I inquired about our scheduled meeting and said there was a conflict of interest and declined to work with us. Wouldn’t elaborate, I tried calling and got literally sent to voicemail, and essentially ghosted after that text. I still have no idea what the conflict of interest is, why that would even matter that my other service dog whose 4 was trained by someone else years ago, and what that has to do with my current puppy. Mind you my work with DTE was done in Utah not even in Tennessee… So bizarre and just weird how this was handled.. So I guess just be cautious but everyone else seems to have had great luck at least. Update: The "background" work she talks about is I on the side sell service dog medical ID's for handlers. That's literally it, I dont work with any dog training companies nor have I ever worked with a dog training company. I didn't realize I had to be up front with my own business selling stuff for service dogs when I wasn't even trying to sell anything to her or anyone else she knows. I hid literally nothing but she just wants to make it seem that way for some weird reason. Extremely paranoid it seems. I have a 15 week old puppy that I simply wanted trained and yet I'm doing covert spy stuff? Obviously ANY business has the right to refuse service to work with someone. Its usually in how the business does that though that speaks to their maturity and professionalism. Accusing a customer of being covert or sneaky or red flags and not even having a discussion with them to understand anything is just pathetic. Do they owe me that right? no absolutely not, but if you accuse someone of something at least have a discussion to see if possible you yourself understood things incorrectly. Not the way here and not someone I would want training my dog. God knows if you don't agree with how they do things they'd probably just go off on you and block you after. PS. Go read on yelp her reviews for 1 stars.. this is a pattern sadly.
