We took our 5 month old lab/border collie mix to Dawn because she was starting to snap at us when disciplined and was over all a hot mess. Our kids weren’t able to move about the house freely at all. Tybee was running things and we weren’t sure how to turn her around. We left her at k9 academy for 3 weeks. Now she is much more manageable! We have the tools to correct her when needed and the kids finally love her! She’s still a puppy....learning to harness her energy, but now we know how to redirect her. Would highly recommend Dawn!

I took my one year old rescue boxer that I was almost ready to turn back to rescue society. I was unable to even walk him on a leash without him wanting to play tug. After the training, we are able to walk daily with no issues. He also sits, lays down and comes on command. Makes his life and mine more pleasant. He is not going back to the rescue society--he's a keeper

My dog is sweet, smart, & stubborn. He is a big boy and overwhelms me at times. I always had 1 on 1 time with my trainer and as a result my dog is more obediant and I'm more consistent. He can do on leash commands as well as off leash commands. At first I felt like off leash wasnt possible but my dog prefers it now. I am not disappointed in the least! Take your dog here if you want results.

I took my 9 month old german shephard dog to her. He had no real training other then to get in his kennel. In the beginning he tried to resist everything and wouldn't take treats from her. Dawn was patient with teaching me how to he a better master as well as with Major's stubbornness. Now he will take treats from her. He can now sit & stay, down & stay, come, heel, walk beside me without a leash and turn right/left. Before he would pull on a leash and bark at everyone & all other dogs. Now he can see another dog but walk without barking or pulling. I enjoy taking him out more often now and people compliment how well behaved & sweet he is. The benefit we have with going here is that we have 1 on 1 time with the trainer so our money is very well spent.
