Training at K-10 Dog Training in Mexico NY uses science-based, positive reinforcement methodologies. Training is offered for dogs of all ages and temperaments. Canine Good Citizen training and testing is also offered including working with ESAs, Therapy and Service Dog candidates. There is absolutely no doubt as to Kathy’s love of animals as soon as you meet her. This in addition to her dedication to a positive training experience made K-10 a tremendous experience for both myself and 9-month old Chocolate Labrador puppy.
Lola had two significant behavioral issues. She would bark incessantly until she got her way. Kathy demonstrated how to address this and ensured that I as the owner was able to address it also with success. Secondly as she gained weight, walking her on a leash was very unpleasant and unsafe for both of us. Kathy helped introduce her to the use of a Gentle Leader. Now we both look forward to many walks each day.

The place was nice. It's like a dog heaven. Lots of places to run, clean water bowls and the best part is the nice person who is the trainer there. Totally recommend.
