This time last year, when I walked my dog Remy, it felt like I was along for a water-skiing ride! He dragged us along, and nothing I did could get him to stop pulling. It was brutal! A few months back, I decided it was time for help. We went with the 6 week option, and I couldn't be happier! Today, Remy and I just completed a 4-mile hike, and he stayed in the "heel" position the whole time! No more dragging me along, tripping me up, stopping abruptly, zig-zagging across the path! I lead and Remy stays at my side, with the leash loose in my hand. Jacob put me back in charge, gave me the tools I needed to direct Remy, and set us up for a much happier and healthier life! I would highly recommend him to any family needing help with their dog.

Jacob provided exactly the training that my two loving but stubborn huskies needed. Having already turned 4 years old, I thought it might be hopeless to teach them how to behave and was quite skeptical. Thanks to Jacob’s patient and persistent training, my dogs have completely changed their overall demeanor in 6 weeks, into being calmer and obedient pups at all times. Not only do they listen in public, they stay my side, sit when asked, walk without pulling, and have even stopped all destructive behavior. They are understanding “leave it” which I desperately needed for these huskies with a prey drive. I simply cannot believe it, my dogs now listen to what I say and I KNOW that they understand the commands being given. They are able to go to stores with me now, which I would have NEVER previously attempted. Jacob was the answer to my problems, he has made the relationship I have with my dogs just as loving but the bond has strengthened immensely. He also gave ME the tools I needed to keep up with the training at home. He is so personable, kind, patient, and most of all, a miraculous trainer for all dogs!!! I strongly recommend!

Jacob was a great trainer. My dog Nazca is a very difficult min pin chi. She absolutely hates everyone she doesn’t know. On the first day, he got her to sit on his lap, which was impressive. She needed 8 weeks of training due to her aggressive and stubborn personality. The day I got her back, my husband and I could see a difference. She assesses the situation instead of just reacting to other dogs. For example, when there were 3 dogs barking at her through a fence she seemed to pause and calm herself down and not react to them. I also took her to a beach dog park and two dogs came to sit with me and she was perfectly fine smelling them. She is able to sit patiently and wait for me to finish a cup of coffee at the coffee shop instead of whining and being over the top. For example, she was just enjoying watching her surroundings instead of getting nervous by the people walking by. Overall, I really enjoy how she has grown through obedience training with Jacob and interacting with the other dogs there.

100% recommend to anyone with a dog that needs some help, my Gemmy is a puppy (10 months) I got her from the shelter so she needed lots of help. She wouldn’t listen and always made a mess when I left her alone even for just a few minutes. Jacob not only trained Gemmy but me as well he gave amazing advice and guidance. We did the 6 week course and it was totally worth it!!! Thank you Jacob for your amazing work much appreciated. 🤙

We brought a very stubborn, strong, shepherd/ Doberman mix, hoping for a big change. She is very strong, and has a very strong prey-drive, so after a few catastrophic and dangerous incidences, we went to Jacob, after our daughter’s enthusiastic recommendation. Daisy was also very reactive to dogs, making it nearly impossible to take her anywhere. After Jacob’s board/train program, she was transformed. She walks to heel—no more pulling—great recall— and her reactivity is gone. We are no longer afraid to take her out in public. She no longer requires treats for obedience, and responds more quickly to commands. Jacob was kind, careful, and developed a great relationship with our dog. I strongly recommend Jacob for both boarding and training.
