Joseph did a fantastic job of training our 1 year 2 month old female puppy. She had chewed shoes, walls, air conditioning wires/ insulation, she got under my husband’s truck and chewed the front and back brake wires, and jumped up to the counters to steal bread/ tortillas/ my sandwich one day. We sent our sweet, but naughty girl to Joseph for 3 weeks. She returned a whole new dog! She obeys and does not chew things up anymore. Dog training was a game changer and in the long run so worth the cost we paid. Now we can enjoy her and not worry about what thing we have to replace now. Also, the in home training has helped me be a better dog mom.

Rebecca and Joseph were absolutely incredible and really took the time to come and see what kind of help we needed before suggesting a plan to solve our problems with the 3 dogs we have. More impressively, they’ve never failed to assist with help after our dogs’ time at their facility. It’s been truly a life changer for us and we can’t wait to see just how much our lives with our best furry friends change as we learn and grow with their help. Couldn’t recommend them more.

I met Rebecca a few years ago at Lowe's. At the time, I had a senior German shepherd but knew that my next dog would be a Dutch Shepherd or a Belgian Malinois. So when the opportunity arose to ask her about her dog, I found out she was a trainer. I started following JRK9 on Instagram that day, and have enjoyed watching not only the growth of JRK9, but the growth of the dogs that go through their program. After my GSD passed, I foster failed/rescued a 5 y/o male Belgian Malinois, lovingly known as Axel. Axel was surrendered back to the rescue for being "dog reactive." JRK9 was the first call I made. After years of seeing dogs become good canine citizens through JRK9, I wanted to give Axel and I the best chance at a successful partnership. Through the initial consult and follow up, I've learned so much more about the Belgian Malinois breed (the stuff you can only learn from first hand experience), and how Axel's past experiences have shaped him into who he is today. I am so thankful for Joseph and Rebecca for their time, expertise, and guidance on how I can be the human that Axel needs. And to top it off, they are extremely passionate about pairing EOD Veterans w/service dogs to help both thrive and navigate post-service. After spending a month with Joseph and Rebecca, my very stubborn beagle came back a completely different dog! Unlike many other training companies I researched, JRK9 ensures that the owners are just as well-trained as their pups. To keep the training consistent, Joseph has been doing bi-monthly house calls with us to slowly reintroduce the techniques they practiced with Mack. They provided us with clear, "black and white" do’s and don’ts, so we know exactly how to maintain progress. I also really appreciate their transparency; they are upfront about what they can and cannot help with, and they are incredibly responsive whenever we have lingering questions between sessions. They even provided all the gear and equipment we needed to continue Mack's success at home. Beyond the results, the business side is just as impressive. They are fairly priced and never try to upsell unnecessary services. It’s clear that this husband-and-wife team "knows their stuff", their extensive experience working with military and police dogs really shines through.
