⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t recommend Kerstin at Joyful Tails Dog Training enough. I called because I was looking for someone who could watch a friend’s dog overnight. Unfortunately, he has aggression toward other dogs, so I was expecting the conversation to last maybe 10 seconds before being told they couldn’t help. Instead, Kerstin completely exceeded my expectations. Even though she wasn’t able to board him herself, she spent a significant amount of time on the phone with me asking thoughtful questions about his age, history, diet, and behavior. She genuinely wanted to understand the situation so she could point us in the right direction. She recommended trainers who specialize in aggression, facilities that might be able to accommodate him, and even gave advice on nutrition and the type of food that could help support better behavior. What impressed me most was her passion. She wasn’t trying to make a sale—she simply cared about helping a dog and the people trying to do right by him. That level of kindness, knowledge, and generosity is incredibly rare these days. We need more people like Kerstin in this world. If this is the level of care she provides to someone who isn’t even a client yet, I can only imagine how amazing she is with the dogs she works with. Thank you, Kerstin, for going so far above and beyond. I will absolutely recommend Joyful Tails Dog Training to anyone looking for a trainer who truly loves what they do.
