Joshica's Planet Canine LLC

This used to be a place for positive reinforcement training. I was really looking forward to group classes with my dog. The trainer was the last one to arrive to class and the facility was locked. The trainer brought her dog wearing a prong collar. She said the dog already completed level one obedience. She said she doesn't force anyone to use a prong collar, but she was rude to me when I expressed that I did not want to use one and why. She said she didn't want anyone shaming others for using them. I said it was fine with me if others used them, it just wasn't what I was looking to do. I felt unwelcomed and I was looking for a trainer that doesn't use prong collars or shock collars, so I did not continue with the classes or maybe I should say I did not take the obedience level one class. I miss the clicker training they used to do. That was fun. It would be nice if they could find a way to improve the lighting in the facility. It was dark and hard on my eyes. I wish this could have been a more pleasant experience for me. I hope it is a positive experience for those that remained in the class and I wish them well.
