Joseph's Obedience Training

I have been taking classes at Joseph's for over a year. I have gone from Obedience 1, 2, CGC, Beginner Agility, Tricks, FIT Dog, distraction classes. Not only did I feel like I got the tools to have a well behaved dog, but I come for all the fun classes and the bond you can have for just an hour class with your dog. Whether a newly adopted dog, puppy, or you just want something fun to do with your dog. All of the trainers are experts in their fields. We love it here!

My shelter rescue mini Aussie, Tucker, and I have been taking classes at Joseph’s for 3 years now. We took obedience 1, canine good citizen and for the past 2 years agility. Tucker and I are excited to go to class each week and enjoy the knowledgeable, positive, instructors, the large heated indoor facility and all the friendly fellow students and dogs we’ve met. It’s a wonderful way to bond with your dog, learn new skills and have fun.

Update: my Shiba is now 14 years old and retired from agility classes. We now take nose work classes, which is a great low-impact activity. Our instructor Maureen is highly knowledgeable and gives us new challenges in each class, sometimes working outdoors. She brings her continued experience in the field into class, which helps students prepare to enter competitions eventually, and adjusts exercises to fit everyone's needs. I enjoy watching Suki use her senses to sniff out the solution to the "puzzle", while I learn my role in loosely guiding her. We have a great time and appreciate the great facility and dedication of the teachers. I'd recommend this facility to anyone for their pet, at any life stage! . Agility classes with Lori Nieves are the absolute best! She is a fantastic trainer who elevates our game. The equipment is high quality and the classes are limited, so you get plenty of time to practice on the course. She really cares about her students and we love coming to Joseph's to work with her.
