Joey Luke's Dog Training

When I adopted Gunner I had forgotten how much work it was to train a puppy. I had tried the big name pet store training's that basically only taught him how to sit. Gunner loved to bite at everyone's ankles, didn't know how to walk on leash, and thought he was a German Shepard trapped in a Corgi's body. When I contacted Joey I was at a crossroads on what was best for Gunner and I. Within the first few minutes of meeting Joey and seeing how he interacted with Gunner my mind and worries were all put at ease. Joey spent an hour going over all the information about his program, what type of results to expect, and what was expected from me to make sure Gunner and I would both benefit from his program. I enrolled Gunner in Joey's 3 week board and train and it was the best decision I could have made. It was wonderful to see Gunner's process through Joey's Facebook and email updates. I felt like such a proud mamma anytime I saw Gunner doing well and loved seeing his transformation from wild & crazy to a much more calm and confident little guy! Before Gunner came home, I met with Joey and his wonderful trainers who ensured I had all the tools I needed for Gunner and I to be successful. The follow-up visits provided even more valuable information on how to transition from Gunner being at Joey's to him being back at home. My little man has now been home for almost 2 months and although Gunner is still a feisty little puppy, he still focuses on his training skills and is proud to show off all that he has learned. I would highly recommend Joey and his team for all those looking to build a better relationship with their dog!

We took In our mother’s dog after she passed away. He is a 8 year old Chihuahua that had issues: not being housebroken, separation anxiety and aggression. We did the intensive training and Chippy lived with Joey and Nicole for a few weeks. He was a different dog when we got him back. My sister and I struggled to follow our instructions because of our bad habits, but they follow up with you in your home and we are much happier! Highly recommend Joey Luke’s.

For months, I had been looking for the right training/ trainer for Midnight and I’m beyond thankful I came across Joey Luke’s dog training. Meeting him gave me the answers I was looking for. He is genuine, caring and committed to dogs and their training needs. He was patient with Midnight and took everything at his pace, as well as posting videos of his progress and really explaining what he’s doing in his training. Thanks to Joey and his team of trainers, Midnight and I can lead a happier and better life! Midnight is more calm, confident, and responsive to training! Midnight and I have a stronger bond/ communication too!

I would highly recommend Joey Luke’s Dog Training to anyone who needs dog training. Our dog Tasha had been attacked when she was younger and had not been the same dog ever since. On top of that we just had our first child and Tasha was having a rough time adjusting to life with a baby. After looking at many different training programs through many different trainers, we chose Joey because he was the only one who sat us down and told us his plan for Tasha and how it would be specifically tailored to her needs. We felt he treated us like a friend or family member as opposed to just another client. After getting Tasha back from the board and train program, we are pretty convinced Joey is a wizard because the results are night and day. She is more confident and extremely obedient and much more comfortable with the baby, while still having her feisty personality that we have come to love. Honestly, I did not think it was possible for my dog to be trained at this point and was extremely skeptical. I can honestly say anyone who feels the same can be certain that Joey Luke’s is the number one choice for real results while knowing your dog will be treated like a family member and not just a number.

My Collie Shepard mix started acting up after we moved. He's a very anxious dog and began to have trust issues with people. We couldn't even leave him in the same room if we had people over with the constant barking and uncertainty if he would anxiously nip someone. I thought it may be a lost cause. After working with another trainer and that failing, we chose the kitchen sink option with Joey Luke's Training and it has been WELL worth it. I've recommended them to numerous people and will continue to. They are miracle workers with pups & genuinely care about the dogs they work with. My pup still has a little ways to go but the lifetime socialization classes keep the progress rolling and I've seen drastic results. They're passionate about what they do and filled with great staff! I'd give you guys 10 stars if I could! :)
