⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Joey Luke is absolutely incredible at what he does. After working with Joey, my dog has completely transformed. She listens to commands, heels beautifully, and is genuinely a dream to be around now. The difference is honestly night and day. One of the biggest challenges we had was her obsession with chasing our cat. We had been dealing with it for an entire year, and nothing seemed to stick. Joey was able to turn that around in just one week. Seeing her calmly listen and leave the cat alone has been unbelievable. What impressed me most is that Joey didn’t just train my dog — he taught us how to communicate with her and continue reinforcing what she learned. The results have made everyday life so much easier and more enjoyable. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands dogs and can produce real, lasting results, I can’t recommend Joey Luke highly enough. Five stars without hesitation!

We can't say enough good things about our experience with the month-long board and train program. It truly changed our lives in the best way. Before training, our dog was very nervous around new people, pulled on the leash, struggled to listen the first time we asked him to do something, and was always on high alert. The biggest difference now is his confidence. They didn't just train him, they taught us how to help him feel safe and trust that we would handle situations instead of feeling like he had to. Our whole family is so much more relaxed now. We have a big dog, and our house just feels calmer. He's better on walks, has much better manners, and meeting new people is no longer something we dread. I was honestly so nervous about sending him away for a month, but they made the whole process so much easier than I expected. They kept in touch with us, answered all of our questions, and never made us feel like we were bothering them. When it was time to bring him home, they spent so much time making sure we understood everything and gave us the tools to keep his training going at home. He's been home for about a month now, and I was worried he'd fall back into his old habits. If anything, he's continued to improve because we know how to work with him now. My only regret is not doing it sooner. If you're on the fence, I can honestly say it was worth every penny. It was an investment not just in our dog, but in our whole family. I would recommend this program to anyone without hesitation.

If I could give Joey and his team more than 5 stars, I would. I truly have happy tears while typing this review, that is how life changing and amazing this whole process has been for our family. About a year after losing our older German Shepherd, we brought home a puppy during what turned out to be one of the busiest and hardest seasons of our lives. I was recovering from a severe car accident, caring for a 7 year old and a 1 year old, and shortly after getting him found out I was pregnant again. Despite loving him deeply, we simply weren’t able to give him the time and consistency a young German Shepherd needs, and I was devastated by the thought that rehoming him might become our only option. After countless hours researching trainers, I found Joey’s Dog Training and immediately appreciated that consultations are part of the process. From our first meeting, Joey listened without judgment, reassured me that our concerns could be addressed, and helped us decide that Board & Train was the best fit for our family. I never felt pressured, only supported. Throughout the three weeks he was away, they were incredibly patient with all my anxious dog mom check-ins and always happy to give updates. At pickup, his trainer took so much time explaining commands, having us practice, and making sure we felt confident before bringing him home. Since returning home, our dog has been truly transformed. We hardly use his crate anymore, he safely and happily interacts with all three of our children, and family and friends immediately notice the difference in his behavior and manners. The follow-up sessions and lifetime support by text or email speak volumes about how much they stand behind their training. Most importantly, Joey never made me feel guilty for our situation. Instead, he reminded me that seeking help was proof of how much I loved my dog, and that meant more to me than he probably knows. I genuinely don’t know what would have happened if we hadn’t found Joey and his team. They gave us the tools, confidence, and support we needed, and because of them our family feels whole again. If you’re considering training, especially Board & Train, I cannot recommend them enough. It was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. We had an incredible experience with Joey Luke's Dog Training and cannot recommend them enough. Our mini Aussie, Finn, struggled with impulse control, especially when guests came over, and mealtimes and basic obedience were also areas we needed help with. Their board-and-train program was fantastic. Finn came home with a completely new foundation and a clear understanding of expectations. What really impressed us, though, was how much time they spent making sure we understood the training too. The follow-up sessions were invaluable, they taught us how to reinforce the training and continue building on what Finn learned. The team clearly cares about both the dogs and the families they work with. Their approach is thoughtful, practical, and incredibly effective. Finn is calmer, more focused, and much easier to manage when guests come over or during everyday routines. If you’re considering training for your dog, I would absolutely recommend Joey Luke’s team.
