Jodi's Kennel

We took our 2.5 year old Bichon shihtzu to Jodi to help with general training and obedience issues. He would pull hard during walks, run away and make a game out of it, very reactive on a leash towards bikes and other dogs (out of excitement, not aggressively). It was just very stressful for not only our dog, but our family as well. We wanted to be able to take him more places without overwhelming everyone. We did the 2-week boarding & training session with Jodi...when we went to pick up our dog and get a run down of how to continue the training at home, we couldn't believe our eyes. It was like Jodi had replaced our dog with a new one! Haha. Our dog was walking next to us and heeling...he was off leash and still paying attention to us and staying nearby. His behavior changed drastically, for the better! That very day we picked him up, we went to our family hangout at my brother's. All day, our dog was off leash!! He was even able to "place" at my brother's house while we ate, for example, until we commanded him off of the place. I couldn't be happier. These are great results for an affordable and knowledgeable trainer. BEST MONEY I'VE EVER SPENT. Jodi is amazing and very non-judgmental. She explains things to you in a teaching manner and never once made us feel small. She takes her work very seriously, but interacts with everyone in a fun, engaging way. If I ever need Jodi's services again in the future, I'd definitely return.
