I have been providing professional dog training and behavior modification for dogs and puppies for over 30 years. I believe in the Leader of the Pack concept which basically means we need to learn how to communicate with our dogs as their leader. It is my job to teach you how to become your dog's leader. I took my newly adopted shepherd mix to Jim in desperation and hopes he could turn things around. I was pretty hopeless going into it and after my session with Jim I left with the tools needed to continue training my dog at home. The techniques and skills Jim used (and taught me) changed the dynamic of my relationship with the dog. Thankful to say the dog is a loved member of our family now, thanks to Jim.
I have ordered the yax cheese sticks on Amazon several times which he sells. I get the x-large size and my Dobie eats it up within 24 hours. I did want to heat it up like the instructions suggested when it got small but she didnt want to give it up and hid it both times.
Has outstanding reputation but is extremely difficult to get in touch with. Does not return phone calls in a timely fashion. Very difficult to get any response. So busy he doesn't need any new business??
Jim Hodges did a wonderful job with my puppy, Maverick. Maverick did the 14-17 day camp at Jim's house. He came back home and knew what to do and how to act. We have continued with the training at home and letting him know we are the leader. Jim did a great job helping us know how to teach Maverick as well. If your dog needs training, there is no one I would trust more then Jim Hodges!
