Jess Trains Dogs

So my partner and I just started working with Jess, only having one session so far and I already feel a review is necessary. My partner has one dog and I have 3. My partners dog is fear reactive and very hesitant of new people, usually barking incessantly and on edge. We opened the door with her on the leash, nervous about the first meeting, and INSTANTLY my partners dog acted as if they were best friends for ever, not barking once. Behavior that shocked both myself and my partner especially. We are attempting to integrate my dogs into the home, and have many future session to come, which I will update the review once those have happened but, just off of vibes and what we accomplished in one singular session blew our minds.

Ever have a dog unlike any others and truly not sure what to do with them? That was us! Jess has helped us take a dog that live at our house and turn him into a family dog. We have a very high drive, reactive GSD. While we have expierence training GSDs, we really needed a different approach with our dog. Jess has worked diligently with our pup and us to build a foundation. She has answered the (very large amount of) questions we have had understanding his needs, behavior cues and figuring out what modifications we need to make with our own behaviors. Jess will forever be part of our village!

Jess is fantastic! We started working with her when my French Bulldog showed signs of IVDD at an early age last fall. I told her that I wanted to learn preventative measures and techniques to help manage the disease, and hopefully avoid any major back surgeries in his lifetime. She has been incredibly supportive of this goal by teaching us safe games to play as alternatives to fetch and roughhousing, as well as physical therapy exercises to maintain strength, stability, and mobility. Not only does she teach us techniques already in her wheelhouse, but she also constantly shares new resources and ideas, offering to help us learn them. Jess plays a large role in maintaining my Frenchie's happy and healthy quality of life despite managing a bad back. It is also very clear how much she genuinely cares for the animals and people in her orbit.
