There are not enough positive words to describe JemzK9 Training (Tyler and Emely). My husband and I rescued a 2 year old bully breed dog in February, and while she is amazing, she also has some unpredictable dog reactivity/aggression during some of our walks--and she is strong. My first contact with Tyler was the initial phone call. He spent almost an hour with me talking about my dog's issues and describing the kind of work we could do together to help her. He works exclusively with his partner Emely and they are both kind, knowledgeable regarding dog psychology and behavior, and very patient with my learning curve. One aspect of the training that has been wonderful is that we don't just meet in one place--we meet all over (parks, walking in the streets, etc.) in order to increase the generalizability of the training. In fact, they spent a whole session in my house working on excitability (barking and running to the door) when someone knocks, despite knowing to stay in her place bed. She is soooo much better already. I have to also say that we have an older dog who also barks and they spent time helping us with her as well--even though she isn't their "client". After each session, they send a summary of the lesson, their observations of my dog and MY behavior, and ways I could improve. I also text them with questions (sometimes a LOT :) and they always respond in detail. This has been incredibly helpful with my confidence and abilities as a responsible dog owner. Again, I highly recommend them! Oh, and my dogs love them and it has only been three weeks.
