Shae helped me communicate so much better with my dog. I feel like I have a new outlook on how to interact with her. I called him with a specific problem and he made sure to address it. I was so nervous but he made the training fun and easygoing. I know I can call him in the future when we need it!
We had our first training session today and learned a lot! I’m working towards upland hunting with my two field cockers, and with one training session we were already seeing results. We will most definitely continue our training with him! Very knowledgeable about training a hunting dog and doesn’t miss the little things.
Jay is extremely knowledgeable on a lot of breeds. He was able to help me know my coonhound, and how the best way to reward him so that I can train him. I would highly recommend him for training any breed.

As first time dog owners, we took a leap and brought home a Rhodesian Ridgeback....notorious for being "stubborn" and a bit more difficult to train. Nico is a nervous guy, but got the basics down quickly. Around 8 months, he stalled with the important stuff, like recall and grooming. Being new to the world of dog ownership, we were starting to become frustrated and not sure of the next steps to get him where we wanted him to be. Nico was becoming more nervous and less confident. We were becoming more anxious and frustrated. Then we met Shea. He listened to our situation, offered his help, and then took Nico under his wing for 3 weeks. After the 3 weeks, Nico's recall was solid, his leash walking was greatly improved, we were able to trim his nails without an entire circus act, and his confidence had returned. We actually ended up sending him back to Shea for another stay shortly after and Nico returned with an even stronger recall. Not only is Nico a more confident and happy dog, but we are more confident and happy owners. Shea led us in the direction we wanted to go with Nico and gave us the tools we needed to keep him there. It's also a comfort knowing that if we have any questions or need any help in the future, Shea is right there willing to help. Sorry Shea, but you're stuck with us!
