How does your dog benefit from daycare?
There are a multitude of benefits for dog daycare. Socialization, exercise, mental stimulation, and a peace of mind for owners. Dogs need physical activity where they can run and play to stay happy and healthy. Socialization is important for dogs to develop good social skills and interact with other dogs in a safe and supervised environment. What is required to attend daycare or boarding?
The health requirements include Rabies Vaccine, Distemper (DHPP) Vaccine, Bordetella Vaccine, and a Negative Fecal Exam within the last 6 months, afterwards they are require them yearly. Dog's must be spayed or neutered at 7 months or pulled from daycare. Companion Camp allows unaltered dog's as it is small group play and walks. Each dog must attend a Trial visit to ensure your dog's temperament is appropriate for daycare or boarding.

Riverdog has been my dog Myles second home for 10 years. There are many reasons for this but the bottom line is fabulous staff. Currently Myles is in Companion Camp and you won’t find a better staff anywhere. Kim. We have know her the longest since Myles was 3 months old. I completely trust her with Myles and she is always a joy to work with Caroline One of Myles’ girlfriends. Yes he has several and she always is there for him rain or shine. Jason. The big man! Since day one in 2013 Myles and Jason have been buds. Jason controls the dogs and humans with a soft touch and a great sense of humor. He knows every dog and all their owners eccentricities. Also there’s a safety element 😉 Jordan is cool calm and collected with Myles and has just the right touch when it come to making Myles comfortable and wanting to learn. All of these folks make every day a joy and knowing that Myles is getting the best care anywhere. I consider them my friends and am grateful every day for them. Sorry can’t pick just one. Thanks all of you.
Our dog Chancey is very picky about who he’s friends as with! Caroline and Jordyn are his favorites at Jax!!
Our schnoodle Kalvin has a wonderful time every week at day care! He has particularly taken a liking to Caroline at RD and we can get him excited and prepared to go when we tell him it's time to visit Caroline at RD!
Our dog, Bo, generally attend Companion Camp twice a week. He loves going and comes back happy and tired. The Jax Dog Drop Riverdog team does an amazing job and we see that Bo loves them. He has a special bond with Caroline LaMotta who regularly takes Bo on walks and works with him on enrichment activities.
