Jagermeister German Shepherds / Carlos Rojas K9

If there were anyone deserving of the title or nickname of “dog whisperer” it would be Carlos Rojas. His 30+ years of experience and extensive knowledge of canine behaviors, specifically the German Shepherd breed, would be astonishing on their own, but it does not end there. We didn’t buy our German Shepherd from Carlos, but we brought her to him when she was only a few months old. She lived with him and his family for two weeks, and came home a different dog. Carlos also trained us, the parents, at the end of her stay. We learned how he trained her, so we could continue to reinforce the training when she came home with us. He has treated her and us like family, and we have been blessed to have her board and train with him a few times since, and each time it was the same high-quality experience. Carlos is amazing to watch with our dog. He is relaxed and even playful, while at the same time being firm and reinforcing with discipline and praise. He is a superlative professional, a master of his trade, and we feel privileged that our dog Roxy has blossomed and matured under his tutelage.

Carlos along with his two sons, Carlito and Joaquin are amazing. I had purchased my GS from a reputable breeder back in April 2022. She was 12 weeks old when I got her. We did some group classes for a while, elsewhere and I could see that it wasn’t effective. She was very distracted and dog selective. Carlos was highly recommended from my breeder so I started to follow him on social media and saw his videos and was very impressed. I signed her up for a board and train. We just completed our program and what an amazing job he did. My girl came back so well behaved. He was so patient and kind with her upon arrival. She was scared, as she was of everyone. When we picked her up she was bathed and her nails were cut. He went through all of his training with me and my kids. It was great because Carlito and Joaquin (his sons) were able to interact with my boys and show them how to handle my girl. I am happy to see his boys so involved because they will carry on his legacy! They are a great family and took such wonderful care of my girl. I Highly recommend. I am so happy to walk my dog now. I no longer look like that GS owner that’s has no control. She has confidence and listens. I can’t thank him and his boys enough!

I cannot say enough about Carlos Rojas and his family. They are excellent trainers and wonderful people, who are honest and superb trainers who truly care about the dogs that are with them. I was so impressed when I picked up my Doberman. They took the time to explain what we need to do to maintain the great work they accomplished. I look forward to keeping my relationship with Jäegermeister. 5 stars!!

We bought a 6 mo old puppy from Carlos. Not one of his personal dogs. We wanted a pet for the family. One with a temperament that would allow her to be in a very public space and to have some basic training that my wife and I are too busy to do properly… Carlos gave us exactly that dog. Sweet, smart and trained enough to be comfortable for a couple of hours in a crate and fairly well house broken. We have never owned a shepherd before and we were a bit nervous about aggression. Carlos told us this dog would be what we wanted and he was right. He knows this breed and is trying to do right by the dog and the owner.
