FirstBarkThey use significant aversive training methods. Watched the instructor hit another students dog in the face. But they wont give you refunds if you aren't into that for your own dog. They should be more clear that their training involves harsh collar corrections and physically hitting dogs before you sign up and can't get a refund.

How do you get your dog certified to volunteer as a hospitality dog for nursing homes, etc?

Can I come May8 because my dog Paris is too hyper she is a terrier mixed and she almost cut my littlesister throat and I don't want to lose her but my mom said if she keeps this up she will have to go.got any advice?i will come May8(if I am not busy)

If you have a dog and are thinking about taking a class at Jackie's, do it! I take my dog, Clover, and we are advancing through the puppy courses (Puppy Basics Beginner and Intermediate) and doing some additional behavior modification class for her separation anxiety. After we complete our current course, I guarantee I will sign up for agility or continue with the obedience classes. I thought I was only going to sign up for a single course for the basics, but the information is too valuable, and my very anxious dog has gained a lot of confidence. Jackie and Meredith really show you how smart and capable your dog is, and you get one on one attention even in a class with other dogs. Meredith is the head trainer and we've worked with her for every class. Their instruction for loose-leash walking is AMAZING! I wish I had the knowledge they gave me for my previous dogs. JBB provides realistic balanced training that for the real world that keeps both dogs and owners safe. I cannot recommend it enough.
