J Wells Team, It’s taken me some time to write this, but I wanted to sincerely thank everyone at J Wells. Although my wife, Donna, handled all of Aspen’s training and daycare, the truth is that without all of you, we would have had far less quality time with her. Aspen was our fifth rescue, and to say she came with challenges would be an understatement. Her aggressive behavior was overwhelming at times, and Donna tried several trainers before finding Jordan. Jordan’s work with Aspen—both through training and the daycare environment—changed everything for us. Because of that support, we were able to truly enjoy Aspen and learn how to work with her for over a year. That time meant more to us than you will ever know. Sadly, we eventually lost Aspen due to medical issues, but we are forever grateful for everything you did to contribute to her well-being. What you gave our family, especially Donna, was invaluable. Now, as we begin a new chapter with Wednesday, we are already grateful for welcoming her into training and soon daycare. We truly look forward to continuing to work with everyone at J Wells. Jordan, Jamie and the J. Wells team are truly master class. I brought Jordan a 3 year old English Cocker who was timid to flush and possessive of his birds. In just a few short months of 1 on 1 training, Jordan worked with us to give me a dog that can hunt, flush and retrieve independently. After every trainer I sought advice from had all but given up on my dog, Jordan did not. I highly, highly recommend seeing Jordan and the team at J. Wells Kennels, you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous experience. We have 2 dogs both German Shephard mix (rescue)- one was adopted as a young puppy and had much better training and obedience since we had him young. The other female was adopted at almost 6 months old and had lived the shelter life traveling from the south up to CT. So we had to start from scratch with her. She also was much more independent and wild. Our goal was two obedient well mannered dogs. My personal goal is to be able to confidently control two large dogs (80+lbs each) on leash (and off) and to be able to hike with them. We have had amazing progress with both dogs. The female wasn't even climbing stairs at home when we started and can do the obstacles now at training off leash! This training makes you and your dog work together and the dog looks to you for cues,guidance and direction. It works. We are seeing big improvements over the couple months. 5 stars! We have also use the doggy daycare as well to help with energy and reinforcement (not daily we do drop ins)
