John did a great job training our 1.5 year old puppy, Finn. He was clear upfront about the process and what exactly Finn would be trained on. Before John’s training, Finn knew his basic manners but did not listen when there were distractions around. He also pulled very bad on the leash. John was able to address all of this and now Finn does better with distractions and can go on a leisurely walk. After Finn returned home, John was also very accommodating with doing multiple follow up lessons with us until we were comfortable with the commands and technique. We need to now keep up with the training which will go a long way. Thank you John!

John was a godsend for our family. Our lab is so sweet but her pulling and jumping was unbearable. After the first session there was a noticeable difference. After a month people in our development couldn't believe this was the same dog. He trains both end of the leash for complete and balanced training that instills techniques so both ends of the leash are consistent so you have a relationship built on trust and respect. We have a true companion we can take with us whenever we go places dogs are allowed. We take her to our nephews soccer game and at just over one she will not jump or bark, and after a little while will just lay down and watch everyone. I can't say enough positive about how great John is.

I had my dog Rusty trained at JMAC two and a half years ago. Writing this review now I can see the benefits of their training philosophy on a daily basis. The training provided through Mel helped Rusty learn to walk on a leash without pulling, have excellent recall, and I am able to stop behaviors I disapprove of. The biggest benefit to their training approach was our ability to carry over the strategies. Mel taught us the importance of applying her training methods consistently which has helped Rusty become the fun-loving, sweet, obedient dog that he is.
