Pepe seems like a friendly guy who is doing what he thinks is right. But he used and told us to a use a variety of training techniques that were aversive and punishing to our dogs (e.g., spraying them in the face with water, loudly shaking a can of coins, vocal corrections for incorrect behavior) and told us not to provide any treats for positive behavior. Using his techniques for 1 1/2 days resulted in one of my dogs (who is a very friendly, cuddly pup) becoming traumatized. It took us a week after that to get our dog to even want to be petted and to come back into the house again. As such, we will continue to use positive reinforcement techniques, even if it takes longer. I regret having used Pepe's techniques, as I should've known better, but I was trusting his expertise (he was recommended to me be a colleague as well). I definitely wouldn't recommend him to others though.
The absolute best. I learned more about my dog in one day than I had in the seven months since we got her.
