I am amazed at how much Nic was able to teach my dog in a short period of time. As an adult rescue, he really struggled with basic obedience. Nic boarded and trained him for 3 weeks. Throughout the process he communicated his progress and areas in which we would need to continue to work with him at home. I appreciated his genuine passion for dogs and had no worries while he was in his care. Our dog's training here were his first steps into being successful in his forever home.

Nic is amazing! He definitely has a natural, god-given talent when it comes to working with dogs! My puppy was 10 months old and 90+ lbs when he went to Nic for 2 weeks of board & train in concurrence with protection training. I actually live in Los Angeles but my family lives in Maryland. I heard of Nic through my family and knew I wanted my dog to train with him. I've been doing basic training on my own with my puppy since I got him at 10 weeks, but I knew I had reached my limit and needed a professional to take his obedience to another level. Since he's currently a big boy and still has quite a bit of growing to do, he's a Cane Corso, him being obedient and well trained is not an option. So, this time when I came visit I bought him with me. He's very smart and listens pretty well, but is also high energy and a puppy so getting him to focus can be challenging. Traveling to Maryland with him was an adventure! After the 2 weeks with Nic my dog noticeable listens/follows commands and controls his energy better. Additionally, he learned new commands and wasn't as easily distracted as he was before. He also can now get in and out of the vehicle by himself without my help. Which it seems he was always capable of but was not doing on his own because I had been previously helping him...my mistake...lol. During the two weeks he went thru some protection training with Nic as well and I saw a completely different dog when he was given the command. It was like on command he briefly matured right in front of my eyes. I saw a glimpse of how he'll be as he grows older. Now my only regret is that I don't live in Maryland because I really wish I could regularly take him to train with Nic. It's been hard finding anyone comparable out here in LA. Going back to Maryland with my dog was a much more pleasant process...I could see firsthand the effect of all the training.
