Iron Sharp K9

Our family just completed a 5 training session course with Stan and our 6 month old rottie puppy. Our training was comprehensive and well paced. Our puppy gets regular compliments from neighbors who notice how much she’s learned over the last couple of months. Stan makes high level training techniques feel accessible and comfortable—and we customized what we worked on based on our goals for what we want to be able to do with our pup. I’m happy to report that after just 5 sessions, we are already doing all of those things and now we have even higher expectations for the future. All thanks to Stan with Iron Sharp K9.

Stan helped my wife and I with our newly adopted rescue Rottweiler mix puppy. She was about 3 months old when we started, and was having issues with barking at dogs on walks, greeting people and managing with our cats. The progress has been amazing, and we get compliments from our neighbors on walks now about her behavior. She is really fun to go out with now, and manages her excitement around our cats. Stan takes a very positive, fun approach, and clearly knows what he is doing. I highly recommend - we couldn’t take our last dog in public and swore we wouldn’t get another dog that was so much of a challenge. I wish I had worked with Stan with our last dog, as he has been able to really teach us as dog owners how to make progress. I get almost as excited as my dog when we go out to train now.

Stan Smith is truly a master trainer. Requested board and train services for my baby. I can't fully express my appreciation to Stan for the job he did with Malakai. My boy had become a "velcro dog" and I found myself having too many tripping close calls. In light of possibly falling, I contacted Stan for training. I experienced excellent communication and attention to detail from start to finish. The cherry on top were the videos of the training I received during Malakai's training stay. Stan also worked with me to ensure I was educated, and could continue the training process going forward. The total Iron Sharp K9 experience was well worth the drive and money. Malakai returned a different dog in three long weeks. (I missed my baby..LOL). My household is more stable and safer after returning from Iron Sharp. I highly recommend for any level of training. Partnering with Stan made me a better pet parent. Cheers!!
