Intelligent K9 Dog Training

CJ and his team are highly knowledgeable and professional. Our Belgian pup was transformed through their boarding training. And more importantly, it laid the foundation for her further growth. She has been able to integrate better with our family, and has opened our eyes to how dogs should be. On a daily basis I have interactions with her and other dogs and never is there a question of how she will behave. It's always a matter of how the other dog(s) will. Outside of the training, whenever we've had questions we always get a quick and in depth response on how to resolve whatever situation we've come across. I firmly believe every dog should go through Intelligent K9 training.

There are so many reasons to hire CJ. Ability to handle your dog, in any situation. Walking your dog and being in charge is just an amazing feeling. Before I met CJ, my puppy was pulling and taking me for a Walk/ride. She also loved to chew everything. She was getting stronger each day and I was actually visiting a chiropractor every week. My shoulders/upper body was hurting more & more each time I walked her. I knew at that point I needed help. I was recommended to him by a co-worker. After our initial phone conversation, that took about 30+ minutes, I knew she would be in good hands with CJ. His home is set up to train dogs. He has a nice set up, several acres of property and many training units around his house. He is truly dedicated to make each dog: listen to commands & living happier lives. She was there at his home for 3 weeks. Complete total transformation. I could walk my dog with ease, she "places" when asked to do so. Chewing is no longer done. She is a happier dog because of CJ. After adopting our fur baby we soon realized that she had many behavior issues that needed to be addressed. Being a military family we came across some great friends who also had dogs. After meeting Natasha, CJ’s intern and watching several videos of their past board and trains and I was easily persuaded to send Luna. We did a consultation, met CJ and signed her up for the two week board and train which was totally worth it. I received pictures of her working hard, I was always kept up to date. But at the end of the two weeks I was amazed at how behaved our dog was. Just two weeks ago she was running crazy around the house, peeing in the kennel, didn’t know how to walk on the leash at all, and always got too excited around other dogs. All this had changed and boy am I glad it did. I can now take Luna on walks and barley grip the leash, I can take her to the dog park where I know she’ll get distracted but once I call her name she’s running back to me, the biggest improvement I’ve seen is her walking. I’m so glad Natasha and CJ introduced Luna and I to the prong collar, I actually prefer it over any other training tools and it’s way better than the harness or buckle collar. It really has made a huge difference in the way she walks, and our walks are now more enjoyable than ever. It was so nice that we were able to have follow up lessons where we would review walking, and recalls, and CJ and Natasha would give us more tips and tricks to use/try before the next lesson to tighten up our skills. The both of them were always so great with any questions I had about training, a quick text and they replied within minutes. I have so many great things to say about Intelligent K9 and the team, but hopefully you get the gist that no dog is perfect and training is such a great way for your dog to learn some obedience and structure. I can’t wait for my husband to get home and see what a great investment we made!

I contacted CJ for advice and help with a few issues I was having with my new puppy. Like most people I have had puppies and dogs before but this one is different, harder to train. I had tried all the tricks I could find on google and didn’t know what else to do. I reached out and CJ gave me a few easy things I could try to fix the issues. One being having my puppy on a long lead at all times so I could make a correction if needed and so I could see her at all times. This piece of advice saved my puppy’s life. Not two days after we spoke my puppy was stung by a wasp/hornet and her eyes began to swell shut. Having the lead on her I was able to get her to me with our issue and bc I was only 6 feet from her I was able to see what stung her. I rushed her to the emergency vet and was able to get her treatment for her severe allergic reaction. If she had not been on the lead I would not have seen what had happened Or her immediate reaction. So the mentality they have and the system they use and this one simple tool used to help train my dog has saved her life.
